AC Motors Overview of Torque Motors
- Changing the applied voltage to the motor will change the torque.
- It has large starting torque and drooping characteristics, and can be used in the entire range of rotation speed - torque characteristics.
- Unlike induction motors and reversible motors, it provides stable torque at low speeds and when locked.
- When the load is constant, adjusting the applied voltage changes the rotation speed.
- While the applied voltage is constant, the rotation speed changes as the load changes.
