Noise Frequency Analysis

Oriental Motor uses 1/3-octave frequency analysis for noise frequency analysis. This is the sound pressure level (average value) at each interval of 1/3 of an octave, indicating what frequency components the noise consists of. The human ear is not able to distinguish between different frequencies, but it is only able to hear the difference when the frequencies differ by about 1/3 of an octave. Therefore, this 1/3-octave frequency analysis can be considered as noise analysis data tailored to human hearing.
