Flammability Classification
It is generally defined by the UL standard (UL 94, STANDARD FOR TESTS FOR FLAMMABILITY OF PLASTIC MATERIALS FOR PARTS IN DEVICES AND APPLIANCES), which describes the degree of flammability of plastic materials for device components. The UL standard evaluates items such as burning speed, time to flame and burn, and ignition by dripping materials. It is classified into the following 4 stages.

Oriental Motor's cooling fans use the highest grade V-0 material in this classification for blades and frames (except for some products).
