Backlash

This is the play of the gearhead output shaft when the motor shaft is fixed. When positioning in bi-direction, the positioning accuracy is affected.
Oriental Motor offers non-backlash harmonic gearheads, HPG gearheads and PN gearheads, as well as TS gearheads, PS gearheads and FC gearheads with reduced backlash (low backlash).
