Cooling Fan: When Using at an Altitude of More Than 1000 m Above Sea Level

As the altitude gets higher, the heat radiation effect in the atmosphere decreases, thus, requiring measures such as lowering the ambient temperature of the product.
Below are the conditions for use at altitudes exceeding 1000 m up to 2000 m.

Note that cooling performance may be reduced due to the decrease in air density, so please check the heat generation of the equipment separately.

Operating Conditions for Cooling Fans

If the cooling fan is to be used at an altitude of 1000 m above sea level and no higher than 2000 m, reduce the ambient temperature as follows.

Operating Conditions for Cooling Fans

For example, if a product with a maximum ambient temperature limit of 50 °C is used at an altitude of 2000 m, the maximum ambient temperature limit becomes 42 °C.
