Q.I changed the value of "Initial coordinate generation and wrap setting range" in Motor and Mechanism (Coordinate/JOG/Return-to-Home) setting under Parameter using the support software MEXE02 on AZ Series, but after the power supply was turned on again, an

A.

The value that can be set in the "Initial Coordinate Generation and Wrap Setting Range" must be an integer when applied to the following two formulas. If you input a value that does not meet this condition, an alarm of wrap setting error will be generated.

Condition 1

∗1
Motor Frame Size 20 mm and 28 mm: 900
∗2
Setting Value:
0.5~1,800.0 (motor frame size 20 mm and 28 mm: 0.5~900.0)
Setting range is to the 1st decimal place

From Condition 1, the only values that can be set are the numbers in the table below.

Value of Initial coordinate generation and wrap setting range
  • *The values enclosed in bold borders cannot be set for motors with frame size of 20 mm or 28 mm.

Condition 2
