Q.I am using the NETC02-CC and AZ Series. Is there a way to run the motor immediately after setting the position data without inputting an operation signal?

A.

We will show you the method with simple direct data operation of the AZ Series.

Example) Set 1,000 steps of position data to operating data No. 0 for Motor 0, and then operate the system immediately after writing the data

Introduction

  • The command execution method uses a command selection approach.
  • Data such as operating speed, acceleration, deceleration, etc., other than positional data, needs to be preset in advance. (If not set, the initial value will be used)

Execution Procedure

[1]
Set all M0~M7 inputs of the remote I/O to OFF (with operation data No. 0 selected).
[2]
Set 1035h (simple direct data operation monitor 0) for the command code in the remote register, 0h (address number 0) for the address number, and the position data 1,000 (1,000 steps) for the data.
[3]
When you turn D-REQ for the remote I/O to ON, the motor will start moving.
(*If an error occurs during command execution, D-ERR will also be turned ON at the same time as D-END.)
[4]
While D-REQ is ON, the command position can be monitored by the data response of the remote register.
(*If D-REQ is turned OFF during operation, the motor will continue to operate but the command position monitoring will stop.)
[5]
When motor operation is completed, turn D-REQ to OFF.

To rewrite the position data on the same operation data number and start operation again, repeat procedures [2]~[5].

Supplement

  • Simple direct data operation allows you to update your position data even during operation.
In that case, turn D-REQ OFF once, rewrite to a different target position, and then turn D-REQ ON again.
  • While D-REQ is ON, AXIS-ALMRST, SDT-EXE, and maintenance commands cannot be executed, and parameters cannot be read or written.
  • By changing the parameters of "Simple Direct Data Operation Monitor Select 0 (for NETC)" the data response can be changed to information other than the command position.
