BLH Series Selecting Deceleration Stop Mode

The digital setting type and RS-485 communication type can select "deceleration stop action selection" parameters and operation during deceleration stop.
(Factory setting: Deceleration stop 1)

  • For the analog setting type, factory setting may differ according to motor type. Click here for a product name list

Application Images
  • · Usage in switched-mode power supply
  • · Applications where regenerative power is not generated continuously such as by conveyors etc.
Deceleration stop 1
  • · Usage in battery power supply
  • · Applications where regenerative power is generated continuously such as when going down a hill in an AGV

How to Stop

This is a stopping method in which the motor driver consumes the regenerative power generated during deceleration stop to stop it returning to the power supply side.
(When using switched-mode power supply)

Deceleration stop 1

This is a stopping method which returns the regenerative power generated during deceleration stop to the power supply side. This is used when the regeneration capacitance of a power supply such as a battery is large, or when regenerative power is also used by other devices.

Deceleration stop 3

As there is no brake force, it performs a coasting stop. This is a method of making it stop quietly.

Deceleration stop 2
  • *Since the negative torque (torque generated in the direction opposite to the turning direction) can be used as a brake, this makes stopping in a short time possible.

Stopping Methods for the Analog Setting Type

Stopping methods for the analog setting type depend on motor type.
Due to the factory settings, the stopping method cannot be changed.
